Lock Down Pop Up Kitchen- October 4th – Australia meets Brazil!

Born and raised in the South region of Brazil, André started to develop interest in cooking in his early teens. With his first work in the kitchen starting in a charity pop ups kitchen for the Lions Club raising money for the development of the community.

At the age of 26, he chose Australia as a new venture for furthering his skills in the kitchen, as well as his practice of the English language.

“Food for me is all about sharing experiences and enjoying being together around a table sharing stories and memories”.

His experiences in Australia started at Mr. Miyagi, followed by Oscar Cooper cafe, where he fell in love with Melbourne’s coffee culture.

“I chose this menu because it represents a lot of what I ate in Brazil, the barbecue, the stews, coxinhas and cheese balls in every birthday party I’ve been to and of course the sweetness of brigadeiro!”
